Nordica is fully capable of developing precise steel production tooling and prototype tooling for injection molds using in-house high speed milling and EDM capabilities. We have the flexibility to offer different types of tooling to work within a customer’s lead time and budget.

Injection Production

Nordica’s production facilities offer a wide range of state of the art computer controlled injection moulding machines ranging from 40 tons to 300 tons and growing. All housed in a clean and well lit plant environment. Working around the clock, ensuring streamlined production.

From moulding of close tollerance, highly finished parts, large or small. Nordica Plastics offers insert moulding and over moulding of TPE (Rubber) on to plastics parts.


Ultrasonic Welding

Ultrasonic welding is locally applied to workpieces being held together under pressure to create a solid-state weld. It is commonly used for plastics, and especially for joining dissimilar materials. In ultrasonic welding, there are no connective bolts, nails, soldering materials, or adhesives necessary to bind the materials together.

This process is a good automated alternative to glue, screws or snap-fit designs. Nordica’s ultrasonic welding equipment can be easily customized to fit the exact specifications of the parts being welded.



With today’s upward spiral of resin prices, it has become ever more important to optimize resin usage. A significant part of optimizing resin usage is proper use of regrind.

Most processing operations generate regrind. Therefore, it is necessary to be able to reprocess the regrind back into the part. In injection molding, some molds will generate more regrind than others. For example, a hot runner system will typically produce less regrind than a process using a cold runner system making multiple small parts.


Pad Printing

Our in-house facility enables us to perform test prints on your products or prototype samples. We have the ability to formulate a variety of international standard colours such as Pantone, RAL, HKS. We can also formulate special proprietary colours for industries such as automotive and pharmaceutical.

Pad printing is a printing process that transfers a 2-D image onto a 3-D object using an indirect offset (gravure) printing process that involves an image being transferred from the cliché via a silicone pad onto a substrate.


In-house Assembly & Packaging

Nordica also offers in-house sub assemblies of many components into one. Trained staff and automated sub assembly equipment allows products to be assembled and completed proficiently and economically.
